Clifolio Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how refunds are handled for purchases made through the Clifolio platform. Clifolio operates as a marketplace platform where instructors offer courses to students. Clifolio facilitates course discovery, payments, and platform services.

By purchasing a course on Clifolio, you agree to this Refund Policy.


1. Refund Window

Students may request a refund within 5 days of purchasing a course.

The refund window begins from the date and time of successful payment.

Refund requests submitted after this period will generally not be eligible for a refund, unless required by law or approved by Clifolio in exceptional circumstances.


2. Course Consumption Limit

Refunds are only eligible if no more than 20% of the course content has been consumed.

If a student has accessed or completed more than 20% of the course, the purchase will generally not qualify for a refund.

This policy helps protect instructors from misuse of course access.


3. Eligible Refund Reasons

Refunds may be considered in the following situations:

  • The course content significantly differs from the course description.

  • Major technical issues prevented access to the course.

  • Duplicate payment or payment processing errors occurred.

Clifolio reserves the right to review and determine refund eligibility.


4. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds may be denied in the following situations:

  • The refund request is submitted after the 5-day refund window.

  • The student has consumed more than 20% of the course content.

  • The purchase was made during special promotions labeled as non-refundable.

  • The student repeatedly requests refunds across multiple purchases.

  • Fraudulent, abusive, or suspicious activity is detected.

Clifolio reserves the right to deny refund requests that violate platform policies.


5. Refund Processing

If a refund is approved:

  • The refund will be issued to the original payment method used during purchase.

  • Refund processing may take 5–10 business days, depending on payment providers or banks.

In certain cases, Clifolio may issue platform credits or wallet credits instead of direct refunds.


6. Course Access After Refund

If a refund is approved:

  • Access to the course will be immediately revoked.

  • Any downloadable materials or content obtained from the course must not be retained, copied, or redistributed.

Clifolio reserves the right to restrict platform access for users who violate these conditions.


7. Instructor Earnings Adjustment

Since instructors earn revenue from course sales:

  • Any approved refund will be deducted from the instructor's earnings.

  • If instructor payouts have already been processed, the refunded amount may be adjusted against future instructor payouts.


8. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If a student initiates a chargeback or payment dispute directly with their bank or payment provider without contacting Clifolio support, Clifolio reserves the right to:

  • Suspend the user account

  • Restrict future purchases

  • Permanently block the account in cases of abuse

Students are strongly encouraged to contact Clifolio support before initiating payment disputes.


9. Refund Abuse Prevention

To protect instructors and maintain the integrity of the platform, Clifolio monitors refund behavior.

Clifolio reserves the right to:

  • Limit refund requests

  • Deny refund requests from accounts showing repeated refund abuse

  • Suspend or terminate accounts involved in fraudulent activities


10. Multiple Account Abuse

Creating multiple accounts in order to bypass refund limitations or abuse refund eligibility may result in account suspension or permanent termination. Clifolio reserves the right to deny refund requests associated with such activity.


11. Course Removal or Policy Violations

If a course is removed from the platform due to violations of Clifolio policies, intellectual property complaints, or legal issues, Clifolio reserves the right to determine whether refunds will be issued based on the specific circumstances.


12. No Guaranteed Results

Courses available on Clifolio are provided for educational purposes only.
Clifolio and its instructors do not guarantee specific outcomes such as job placement, income generation, business success, or financial results.

Refund requests based solely on unmet expectations of results may not be approved.


13. Payment Processing Fees

In certain cases, payment processing charges or gateway fees imposed by banks or payment providers may not be refundable. Clifolio reserves the right to deduct such costs where applicable.


14. External or Third-Party Payment Providers

If a purchase is made through a third-party payment provider or external platform, the refund process may be subject to the policies and timelines of those providers. Clifolio will assist where possible but cannot control third-party processing times.


15. Technical Issues

If you experience technical problems accessing your course, please contact support before requesting a refund. Many access issues can be resolved quickly by our support team.


16. Alternative Refund Requests

If you believe you qualify for a refund but the refund option is not available in your account, you may contact our support team.

All refund decisions are made by Clifolio after reviewing the request and platform policies.
Clifolio’s decision regarding refunds shall be considered final, except where otherwise required by applicable law.


19. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Refund Policy shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.

Any disputes arising out of or relating to this Refund Policy, purchases made on the Clifolio platform, or use of the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Dhanbad, Jharkhand, India.
