Clifolio provides the technology infrastructure, payment processing, and platform services, but course content is created and provided by independent instructors.
Clifolio acts as a technology intermediary facilitating transactions between instructors and students.
2. User Accounts
To access certain features of the Platform, users must create an account.
Users agree to:
Provide accurate and complete registration information
Maintain the confidentiality of login credentials
Accept responsibility for activities conducted through their account
Notify Clifolio immediately of any unauthorized account access
Clifolio reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable laws.
3. Instructor Responsibilities
Instructors using the Platform agree that:
They own or have legal rights to publish the course content they upload
Their content does not infringe any copyright, trademark, or intellectual property rights
Course descriptions and information must be accurate and not misleading
They will comply with all applicable tax and legal obligations
They will not upload unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful content
Clifolio reserves the right to review, remove, or restrict any course that violates platform policies.
4. Student Responsibilities
Students using Clifolio agree that:
Purchased courses are for personal educational use only
Course materials may not be copied, distributed, resold, or shared without authorization
Unauthorized sharing of course content may result in account suspension or legal action
5. Course Purchases
When a student purchases a course:
Payment must be completed through the platform’s payment system
Course access will be granted digitally through the platform
Access terms may vary depending on the course or instructor
All purchases are subject to the Clifolio Refund Policy.
6. Course Access License
When a student purchases a course on Clifolio, they receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and view the course content for personal educational purposes.
Students do not acquire ownership of course materials.
Course content may not be reproduced, redistributed, sold, or publicly shared without permission.
7. Platform Fees and Instructor Revenue
Clifolio operates as a marketplace platform and may charge platform service fees or commissions on course sales.
Such fees may be deducted from instructor earnings before settlement.
Details regarding platform fees, revenue share, and payout schedules may be governed by the Instructor Agreement or payout policy.
8. Course Pricing and Promotions
Instructors may set course prices on the platform.
However, Clifolio reserves the right to apply platform-wide promotions, discounts, or marketing campaigns that may temporarily modify course pricing.
9. Payments and Taxes
Payments made on Clifolio are processed through third-party payment gateways.
Clifolio may collect applicable taxes in accordance with Indian regulations.
Instructors are responsible for complying with their own tax obligations, including income tax or GST where applicable.
10. Intellectual Property
All platform software, design, branding, and technology are owned by Clifolio.
Course content uploaded by instructors remains the property of the instructor.
By uploading content to the platform, instructors grant Clifolio a non-exclusive license to host, stream, and distribute course content to students through the platform.
11. Copyright and Intellectual Property Complaints
If a copyright owner believes that content available on Clifolio infringes their intellectual property rights, they may submit a complaint to the platform.
Clifolio reserves the right to review such claims and remove content if necessary.
12. Prohibited Activities
Users agree not to:
Upload illegal or infringing content
Attempt to hack or disrupt the platform
Share paid course content outside the platform
Engage in fraudulent payment activities
Abuse refund policies or platform systems
Violations may result in account suspension or permanent termination.
13. Platform Availability
Clifolio aims to maintain reliable platform availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted service.
The platform may occasionally experience interruptions due to:
